Terms of Service & User Agreement

Welcome to Digital Urban. Please read these terms carefully before booking a service.

1. Nature of Service

"Digital Urban" (the "Platform") acts solely as a technology aggregator connecting customers with independent third-party service professionals ("Technicians") for appliance repair and maintenance services. Digital Urban is not a service provider and does not employ these Technicians directly.

2. Relationship

The contract for the provision of services is directly between You (the "Customer") and the Technician. Digital Urban is not a party to this contract. We only provide the platform to facilitate the booking.

3. Billing & Payments

Invoicing: The final tax invoice for the service and parts will be issued directly by the Technician/Vendor to the Customer. Digital Urban is not responsible for issuing GST invoices for the service provided.
Pricing: Estimated prices shown on the website are indicative. Final pricing may vary based on the inspection by the Technician.

4. Limitation of Liability (Important)

Digital Urban shall not be liable for:

Any damage to property or appliances caused by the Technician during the service.
Any theft, misconduct, or behavioral issues of the Technician.
Any deficiency in service quality or re-occurrence of the issue.

While we conduct basic background verification (KYC), Customers are advised to exercise caution and supervision during the service.

5. Warranty & Disputes

Any warranty on spare parts or service is provided solely by the Technician/Vendor. Digital Urban does not provide any independent warranty. In case of a dispute, Digital Urban may act as a mediator to help resolve the issue but is not legally obligated to provide refunds or compensation.

6. Customer Case Access

To ensure transparency in our booking system, the following terms apply to Customer Case Access:

Access Credentials: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any Token ID to track your repair status.
Data Privacy: Case details are strictly confidential. Attempting to access case data belonging to other customers is prohibited.

7. Jurisdiction

Any legal disputes arising out of this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Badlapur/Thane, Maharashtra.

Important: As Digital Urban is an aggregator platform, we must share your data to fulfill your service request.

By booking a service, you explicitly consent to us sharing your Name, Address, and Phone Number with the independent third-party Technician or Vendor assigned to your case. This is strictly for the purpose of locating your premises and performing the repair.

4. Log Files & Cookies

Digital Urban follows a standard procedure of using log files and cookies. These files log visitors when they visit websites (including IP addresses, browser type, ISP, date/time stamp). These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. We use cookies to store information about visitors' preferences to optimize our web page content.

5. Data Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, and we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect it. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Children's Information

We do not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately, and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
